New EU-Directive of 2006As of July 2006, a new EU Directive, the so-called RoHS Directive, takes effect and sets new standards for alloy composition of bars (for cutting and drilling purposes) used in electronic and electrical components. Under the new directive, the lead content in aluminium for such products must not exceed 0.4%. Please contact Alumeco for further information.
